About Snitch
India’s Boldest
Men’s Fast
Fashion Brand
Snitch is a D2C men’s lifestyle brand built for the modern, style-conscious Indian male. Their catalog spans shirts, trousers, denim, outerwear, shoes, perfumes, and apparel, all designed around the belief that great style should not wait for next season.
What started as a B2B apparel label in 2019 pivoted aggressively into direct-to-consumer by 2020, rapidly building an audience hungry for fast, affordable, fashion-forward clothing. Snitch’s growth trajectory demanded a Shopify development partner capable of matching their pace and engineering their ambition.
The Store We Built
Snitch — Live on
Shopify Plus
The Snitch platform is a culmination of years of iterative Shopify development, performance engineering, and eCommerce strategy. What you see is a store designed to convert at scale, handle thousands of concurrent users, and surface the right product to the right customer at the right moment.
From its clean black header and editorial photography to its speed-centric product listing pages, every element was built and refined in partnership with Snitch’s team. The result is a Shopify store that functions as well as it looks.
The Challenge
A Crisis That
Demanded Precision
When Snitch came to WebzPlot, they were not looking for a routine Shopify development project. They needed a rescue operation, a complete rebuild, and a long-term engineering partner, all at once.
Just 10 days before their scheduled launch date, Snitch’s in-house developer exited without warning, leaving behind a partially built Magento store and no contingency plan. What appeared to be a last-minute request was, in reality, a high-complexity Shopify development rebuild requiring surgical precision and extreme operational agility.
As a new brand, Snitch’s audience was still being defined. The website design needed to evolve continuously, requiring a Shopify theme architecture flexible enough to shift without a full rebuild.
Snitch’s SKU count grows relentlessly with seasonal drops and weekly additions. Managing discoverability at this volume without overwhelming users was a direct conversion risk demanding intelligent Shopify catalog architecture.
Fast fashion demands fast technology. Every page, interaction, and checkout step had to reflect the energy of the Snitch brand with zero compromise on load speed or navigational clarity.
A catalog of this scale demanded back-office reliability: inventory syncing, automated order flows, seamless returns handling, and cross-platform data cleanliness across web and mobile.
Snitch regularly experiences sharp traffic spikes around product drops, festive sales, and influencer campaigns. The Shopify store required architecture capable of absorbing surges without degradation.
From day one, Snitch’s ambitions extended far beyond a basic storefront. They needed Shopify infrastructure with API depth and a clear pathway to Shopify Plus.
Our Solution
Engineered
for Speed
and Scale
WebzPlot undertook a high-intensity, tightly coordinated Shopify development rebuild that balanced launch urgency with technical excellence. The engagement evolved from a rapid MVP into a long-term architecture partnership, each phase building on the last.
No shortcuts were taken. Every decision, from theme selection to taxonomy design to integration architecture, was made with Snitch’s explosive growth trajectory in mind.
Studied the brand, designed wireframes, selected and customised a Shopify theme, uploaded the initial product catalog, integrated payment partners, and pushed the store live within 10 days, clean, functional, and conversion-ready.
Refactored the entire store architecture inside the Impulse theme, deeply customised with animations, hover states, advanced filtering, CRO components, and a clean mobile-first layout built to convert.
Built a multi-layered taxonomy with structured collections, sub-categories, contextual groupings, automated sorting, and dynamic filters, allowing bulk product uploads without disrupting navigational flow.
Lazy loading, minified scripts, clean Liquid architecture, browser caching, predictive search, and speed-centric layout maintained high Shopify performance scores even with heavy media assets across thousands of pages.
Engineered a shared backend logic so all Shopify admin updates — inventory, pricing, discounts, size availability, and product visibility — reflected instantly and accurately in the Snitch mobile application.
Technology Stack
Built on the
Best-in-Class Stack
Every tool in the Snitch technology ecosystem was chosen for reliability, scalability, and speed. No legacy tech. No workarounds.
Backend Ecosystem
A Fully
Integrated
Backend
Snitch’s backend required one of the most comprehensive Shopify integration stacks in Indian D2C eCommerce. WebzPlot designed and deployed every component, testing across all devices to ensure zero latency in customer journeys.
Every integration was selected for reliability, with automated workflows replacing manual intervention at every critical touchpoint.
Enterprise Upgrade
Migration
to Shopify
Plus
As Snitch scaled, WebzPlot supported the full migration to Shopify Plus, unlocking enterprise-grade infrastructure that kept the store stable and performant even during Snitch’s biggest sale events and influencer-driven traffic surges.
Mobile-First Execution
Web and App.
One Unified
Backend.
Snitch’s audience is overwhelmingly mobile-first. WebzPlot engineered a shared backend logic ensuring that every change in the Shopify admin, from pricing and inventory to discounts and product visibility, reflected instantly in the Snitch mobile app.
This tight sync eliminated a common pain point in D2C operations: the gap between what the website shows and what the app serves. At Snitch, both are always in perfect alignment.
